I’m not a big fan of driving—but a recent road trip gave me a powerful reminder about the importance of staying connected. In ThetaHealing®, we call that connection to Source.
I was 22 when I finally took my driving test and got my drivers license, and there’s a reason for that. I was deeply afraid of driving.
I’m also not a big fan of driving long distances, and there’s a reason for that too. I have the worst sense of direction you’ve ever seen. I once got lost in the ladies room of an airport. I walked with great confidence into a broom closet.
Tapping took care of my fear of driving, and GPS took care of my incredible lack of direction.
So there I was last week, driving almost 6 hours all by myself to visit my mom. Just me and my GPS and my iTunes. Until I got back into my car after my first rest stop, two hours in, and my phone died.

Perhaps you know the pain of seeing that little black screen. It’s… dead? Now? NOW?! First you enter the denial stage: it can’t be dead! It was fully charged just a few hours ago!
Then anger: this isn’t fair! I don’t deserve this!
Then bargaining: if my phone can give me just a few minutes, just let me see the major highways I need to take, I’ll be basically okay!
I don’t remember what the other stages are. I didn’t have time to go through them. I was already late. I absolutely had to go.
Had I brought a car charger with me? Yes, but it didn’t seem to work. I plugged it in, full of hope, and nothing. Black screen.
I bravely got back on the freeway going the right direction all by myself (yes, I was within spitting distance of it, but I could have gotten on the freeway going in the wrong direction and not realized it for an hour).
A little while later, my precious phone beeped back to life. But I had to stop the car in order to put the destination in to the GPS again. And when I stopped driving, the phone immediately died again.
So that’s when I realized: you have to be plugged in for a while to receive power.
Your phone needs at least a 10% charge in order to work. You have to have the right technology to charge it, and it has to have some charge already to be able to produce the results you want – even to be alive.
And so do you. You need to be plugged in to a source of power. You need the right sort of technology to know how to do this. And you have to have a certain base amount of power in order to be able to produce the results you want, even to be alive.

This is what I’ve learned and what I teach my clients. I call this source of power Source (makes sense, huh). I use the ThetaHealing® technique to plug in to it. And I have a routine to make sure I stay connected. It’s a pretty simple little daily connection time, but if I skip it for long enough, I stop working right.
I feel so strongly about this that I’ve pretty much dedicated the last 20 years of my life to teaching it to people, one on one and in groups. It’s amazing, powerful, joyful, and way cool.
I’m teaching a Basic ThetaHealing workshop July 25, 26, and 27th. It’s a Fri, Sat, Sun, 11 am to 5 pm with breaks. It’s a fun, interactive workshop that will change everything if you let it. It’s only $500 for all three days (and there are partial scholarships available to those who qualify).
Do you want to learn how to plug in to your source of power, and how to stay plugged in so you get the results and the life you long for? Let’s talk!

PS: I got to my mom’s okay, and on the way back, I knew to plug my phone in from the beginning, instead of letting it get to 0% before I charged it! I hope you do the same for yourself : ) .
