What it took for me to finally get unstuck

She rang my doorbell and started screaming at me

It was a beautiful Saturday afternoon when a casual friend of mine rang my doorbell and started screaming at me about something I’d said the day before that upset her retroactively. This was not the first time she had yelled at me like this, but it was the worst time.

I knew my friend was having major issues. I felt I needed to be kind and patient and compassionate with her. No one else in her life seemed to be showing anyof these qualities, and I was determined to be that one good person for her.

But she just kept freaking the hell out on me, week after week, month after month. Honestly, I may have let this go on for even longer, but this time was different: my young daughters were behind me as I stood in that doorway with my friend screaming at me. They watched everything with wide eyes. I gently but firmly closed our front door in my friend’s face and turned to comfort my kids.

Under pressure

When we’re under pressure, whether from another person or from ourselves, we do what we’re used to doing.
Unfortunately this is not always what actually works best. It’s not actually how we change our lives. In fact, it’s a pretty sure-fire way we keep the same patterns going. It’s how we stay stuck.

What I did when my friend took out her difficulties on me time after time was letit happen and hope it would change in the future if I was nice enough.

Treated like a victim

I acted like a victim my in my own life – and was treated like one.

That was about 15 years ago, and now I know better. I don’t think like or act like a victim anymore.
I’m in my power.

Since then, I’ve identified three other common modes that people go into that keep them stuck.

Stuck in bad relationships…in unsatisfying jobs. Stuck in the way they DON’T want to look and the way they DON’T want to feel.

If you’ve just made a list of what you want to manifest in 2025, that’s great. It’s important to know your goals.

Bad news and good news

But bad news:
unless you finally SEE what keeps blocking you from manifesting your true goals and dreams, 2025 will play out much like 2024 and2023 and all those years before. I’m sorry if that stings.

And good news:
once you identify what keeps blocking you – that mode you fall into just like I used to fall into victim mode –
you’ll empower yourself to change it. Because that’s what you want and need. You need to stop doing whatever you keep habitually doing, so you can start feeling supported by the Universe.

You can stop fighting against yourself and fighting against the Universe.

I’ve stepped out of victim mode. My life is full of love and abundance.

Don’t get me wrong

Don’t get me wrong: my life is not without its challenges! But I now live in flow. I feel the support of the Universe. I learn from every challenge, I create what I want, I give a lot, I receive a lot. It’s pretty cool.
I invite you to join me in finding out what may be blocking you from what you truly want and deserve, and taking vital steps toward actually bringing your goals into your life.

I don’t just tell you that you should set goals or that you should think positive.

I will pinpoint and explain the four modes most people fall into – the modes that are actually blocking them, year after year, from achieving their manifestations– and I’ll tell you the mode you want to be in that DOES work to manifest your dreams into your reality.
